How your data is used
Good Innovation runs this assistant. We use the information you share to answer your questions and save your chats.
AI can process information overseas. Contact Good Innovation to access, correct or ask us to delete your information.
Hosting and storage
Lovable hosts the app using infrastructure around the world. Supabase stores your account details, saved chats and the research library in London, United Kingdom. Managed database backups stay in the same region.
What we keep
We save sign-in and profile details, organisation or working context, questions, answers and source links. Separate service records keep your typed question and diagnostics. Your browser keeps a sign-in session and unfinished typed questions in this tab to help you recover them. It also remembers whether you chose light or dark mode. Unsent files are kept only in memory, not in browser draft storage.
Files you share
Your browser reads text from PDF, DOCX and TXT files. The original file stays on your device. When you send a question, we save the filename, file type, extracted text and PDF page count with that chat. This text can help answer follow-up questions and is not added to the Good Futures library. The AI receives this reference text and can process it overseas. We do not send file text or filenames to library search, web search or chat title generation.
AI answers: Google Gemini
Through Lovable, Google Gemini 3.8 Flash writes Quick take answers, helps select library material and gives chats a title. Go deeper uses Gemini 3.1 Pro Preview for library or combined research. Each model receives your question and the context needed for its task. For answers, this can include saved chat history, organisation details, research extracts and text from files you send. Processing is not restricted to the UK. Lovable says its agreements restrict how model providers use content, including for training. We have not yet confirmed Google’s exact training and retention terms for this connection. We do not request OpenAI models.

Lovable: hosting and AI requests
Lovable hosts the app and passes AI and search requests to the providers. Its privacy policy says data submitted by people using published apps is not used to train Lovable’s models. For debugging, Lovable can save full requests and responses sent through its AI gateway for 90 days. We switched this off on 27 October 2026. Earlier copies may remain until that retention period ends. Basic usage and security records are still kept to run and protect the service; Lovable does not publish one fixed deletion period for all these records.
Web search: Perplexity
When web search is used, your typed question goes through Lovable to Perplexity, which processes it in the United States. Go deeper also sends searches based on that question to explore different angles. We do not send file text, filenames, your profile or earlier chat messages to web search. Under Lovable’s agreement, searches and results are not used to train AI models, and search text is confidential. The agreement limits retention but does not publish an exact deletion period. Choose Library only to keep web search off, or Web only to skip the Good Futures library.
Deeper web research: Perplexity
Web only with Go deeper uses Good Innovation’s own Perplexity API account. We select Google Gemini 4 Argon to plan searches, read web pages and write the research answer. It receives your current typed question and the selected approach and focus, but no files, profile details or earlier messages. Perplexity hosts its API in North America; this is not UK-only processing. Perplexity says it does not use API content to train generative AI models. Google’s provider terms also apply. We have not confirmed a fixed deletion period or zero retention for this connection. We save the question, progress and result in London so you can return to the research later.

Who has access
Your chats and file reference text are tied to your account and are not shown to other users through the app. Good Innovation administrators and service providers can access information to operate or support the service.
Keeping and deleting data
Your saved chats and separate question records in our London database have no automatic expiry. Deleting a chat removes its messages and saved file text, but not separate question records or existing backups. This is separate from the providers’ own retention rules. We cannot currently promise that every copy is deleted within 30 days. Contact Good Innovation for access, correction or fuller deletion.
Email sign-in
GI staff sign in with Google. Subscriber email sign-in is not available yet. When it is, Brevo will send login emails and store its email service data in the EU.
